Guitar and skateboard customisation.

Burntaxe gives musicians the opportunity to customise their guitars with their band logo, a bespoke design or one of Burntaxe’s custom artworks.

Role: artist, graphic design, technician, photography.

Clients included the Dillinger Escape Plan (if your into Metalcore), Balaguer (a world renowned US guitar company) and even Al Murray...yes that’s right The Pub Landlord.

As a Burntaxe artist and technician I was involved in every step of the process from sketching out designs, to laser etching the guitar, to re-wiring the pickups.

Skateboards were a great way to test out designs before putting the design onto a super duper expensive guitar, but that doesn’t make them any less beautiful.

You could etch the headstock, the scratchplate and if you’re feeling brave jump in head-first and get the whole body done. With a variety of colours to choose from and reams of designs, the opportunities are endless...
